Functionality in detail
Featured Images for Categories has been written to support WordPress’s new taxonomy meta data. The plugin also supports setting featured colours for each any category, tag or taxonomy as well.
Customisable shortcodes to control output
Use the customisable shortcodes to output category, tag or taxonomy images into any WordPress page, post or page builder layout.
The shortcodes have support to show specific categories by ID, turn on / off category names and / or category descriptions and randomise the order of images.
Buy nowEasy to use WordPress widgets
The plugin provides two WordPress widgets to customise the output on your site.
The first widget allows you to add a gallery style display of all your categories images, along with options to control the number of columns, the order and the amount of padding around the images. Perfect to display your featured images as a navigation tool instead of just a list of categories! You can also choose to hide categories that do not have images.
The second widget allows you to select a single term (i.e. one category, tag or custom taxonomy term) to be displayed in a widget area.
Buy nowSet custom highlight colours
