We have finalised a bumper update to our Campaign Tracker plugin. It’s a free update for all users with a current licence. Look for the update in the Plugins or Updates interface of WordPress. Read on for a summary of changes.
Capture the Google Analytics First Visit
There is a new field that can be assigned to a form field, the date / time of the user’s first visit. This is generated by Google Analytics and can be a useful metric to store and assign to a form entry.
Support for the Google client ID
The Google Client ID is a unique identifier used by Google Analytics to detect a user. Version 2.4 of the plugin now supports capturing this ID and passing it to a field in your forms.

Overwrite UTM variables
We’ve added a new query string option that allows you to overwrite previously stored UTM variables. Using the ‘overwrite=1’ value in your query string will cause the plugin to delete any previously stored UTM variables for this user/session.
Miscellaneous Fixes
Version 2.4 has a number of small enhancements:
- Fix for Ninja forms where the is more than one form displayed on a page
- Improved tool tips in the plugin interface
- Compatibility updates for WordPress 5.2.x
