Introduction
As of version 4.1, we’ve introduced a new feature that allows users to effortlessly collect and store the unique IDs of various entities within Pipedrive CRM. This includes IDs for leads, deals, persons, organisations, and activities created on the platform.
Purpose of the Feature
This feature is designed to make it easy for users to identify and retrieve the correct ID for specific records, such as leads, deals, persons, organisations, or activities. It’s particularly useful for integrations, reporting, or enhancing workflow processes where precise data referencing is key.
How to Use the Feature
- Selecting the Field: To store the ID data, choose a text field or a hidden field within the feed interface. This field will be used to store the returned ID once it’s generated.
- Saving the ID: After selecting the field, the IDs for leads, deals, persons, organisations, and activities will be automatically saved in the specified field within the entry.
