With the release of version 4.1, our plugin now supports Pipedrive’s custom fields with address types. This enhancement enables users to manage address information more effectively within the Pipedrive platform.
1. Adding an Address Custom Field
You can now add a custom address field to any of the following entities in Pipedrive: Deals, Leads, and Contacts (both Person and Organisation). This feature simplifies the process of capturing and storing address information directly alongside your CRM data, ensuring everything is well-organised and easily accessible.
2. Synchronising Data Cache
Once you’ve added the custom address field to the relevant entity in Pipedrive, it’s essential to synchronise the data cache. After synchronisation, the newly added address custom field will appear within your system, ensuring all data is up to date and reflects the latest changes.
For more details on refreshing cached settings, see the documentation here.
3. Structure of the Address Field
The custom address field is divided into six distinct parts, each representing a specific element of the address:
- Street
- Line 2
- City
- State / Province
- ZIP / Postcode
- Country
It’s crucial to map each part to the correct field in your Pipedrive setup. This ensures that address information is accurately and consistently organised, helping to avoid discrepancies or errors in your data.
