Featured Images for Categories is all about a new way to easily showcase your content in your WordPress site.
Firstly, it mirrors the functionality that you’re familiar with in WordPress pages and posts, where you’ve been able to associate a featured image for some time now. The plugin brings this same feature to your categories and tags.
Then via a simple shortcode you can display your categories or tags in any WordPress page or post, and we’ve added some widgets to make it easy for you to also display a gallery of featured images in any widget area.

The plugin is available in two versions. The free version is available in the WordPress Plugin Repository, while we’re offering the Pro version exclusively here on HelpForWP.com.
The Pro version adds support for custom taxonomies, registered images sizes from your WordPress theme and a widget for featuring individual items in a widget area.
