In September, we released an update for Google Authorlink that started the process of allowing users to control exactly which content will contain the authorship markup.
That updated added controls for blog post categories and custom post types.
Today we have completed the final part of this work and released a new version (1.4.2). The last piece of the puzzle was to allow control over WordPress pages. Now you’re presented with the option to hide authorship on some or all of your WordPress pages.
Why would you want to do this? Check out the information that we’ve published here for more details.
Google Author Link is a free plugin, download it here from the WordPress.org Plugin Repository.
