Our marketing tracking plugin Campaign Tracker for WordPress now has built in support for Contact Form 7. With over a million installs, it’s certainly one of the most popular form building plugins for WordPress.
With this update, the list of supported form plugins now looks like this:
- Contact Form 7
- Gravity Forms
- Formidable
- Ninja Forms
Alongside the update to the plugin, we have also added a new section in the documentation section that specifically covers Contact From 7 – review that here.
New to campaign tracking?
Our plugin for WordPress makes tracking your marketing and advertising a lot easier. Using Google campaign URLs or your own custom URL variables you can track a variety of data. When a user completes a form on your website, the tracking data can be embedded into the form as hidden fields. Meaning that alongside the enquiry you can see where the visitor came from. Perhaps they were from your Facebook campaign or other social media activity? Maybe from a paid advertising spot that you’re running.
Invaluable information to see which of your marketing efforts are resulting in leads from your website.

How to get this update
If you’re an existing user with a current licence you can simply visit the Updates or Plugin section of your WordPress install and use the automatic update feature.

How did I miss this???
Going to get this setup immediately – it’s astounding to see how large Contact Form 7 has become over the last few years. I vaguely remember it’s release.
