Version 2.9.5 of our Gravity Forms add-on for Pipedrive ships today! This version is an important update for all existing users. It includes performance improvements, PHP 7.1 and WordPress 5.1, 5.2 compatibility and more!
This update is a free update for all users with a current licence. Visit the plugin section for WordPress to look for the update.
Performance improvement with caching
The plugin allows you to cache some data from your Pipedrive CRM account. This is useful when you would like to have this data available inside your forms. Learn more about syncing your Pipedrive data here.
In previous versions of the plugin we cached _everything_. Seemed like a good idea. Users with large amount of data in Pipedrive have reported performance issues. In this update we provide an interface whereby you can choose to not cache data. And if you do, you can choose which types of data to choose. Eg Organisations only, contacts only etc..
Support for address fields
If you use the address field in Pipedrive you’ll now find support for that in the mapping interface.
WordPress and PHP Compatibility
We’ve addressed a couple of small compatibility issues with PHP 7.1 and newer and WordPress 5.1.
Updates to documentation
We have updated some of the plugin’s help articles to coincide with this release. If you’re synchronising data from your Pipedrive account, for use in a dropdown or checkbox field, read this updated article: Synchronising Data from Pipedrive. It has new screenshots for the field manger in Gravity Forms. Also review this article: Refreshing WordPress Cached Settings – Pipedrive CRM. In this release we have updated the way that the plugin caches data. Users with large data sets in Pipedrive can now be more selective on which types of data are stored. Only choosing the data types you need will improve performance.
