As of version 2.8 of the plugin, we now support duplication testing, to avoid duplicating contacts in Pipedrive CRM.
Duplicate checking – People
You will find a new setting as shown above in the field mapping interface. When enabled, it will check the email that’s being submitted against all existing Pipedrive email addresses. If there is a contact in Pipedrive already with the same email address, it will not create a new contact but instead associate the deal with the existing user’s contact.
Duplicate checking – Organisation Name
If you’re creating an organisation, the tool will check based on the organisation name being submitted. Once again, if a duplicate is found, the lead will be associated with the existing record in Pipedrive instead of creating a new record.
